A bit boring weather lately and over next few days. Mins between 15-19 and maxes 29-33 everyday. Thunderstorms coming back during next week.
-
I have more pictures including lightning and sunset mammatus.
-----------------------------------------
For this afternoon. Pretty nice storms firing up on western slopes and that going heading for the tablelands and eventually into north coast area later this afternoon/evening. Might get another series of severe storms or either supercells last few days! Hopefully get some more rains!
-
Morning. I will put up my lightning pictures up later after school. Its already hot and muggy here nearly 7am. Further showers and storms today with max of 32 degrees again! I would not surprise they be severe again due to deep instability still left around!
Bring it on round 3!

Had a very fantastic supercell with strong to gusty inflow winds and heavy rainfalls. Lightning and thunder are just constant! They wouldn't stop and couldn't hear my dad talking!! Scored lovely 15mm here (at my mum's place in Ballina scored 12mm) and max wind gusts up to 80-90km/hr at times. So here of my best 12 pictures.
Might get a storm or two further into evening, i hope not lol.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
for LARGE HAILSTONES and DAMAGING WIND
For people in the NORTHERN RIVERS and parts of the MID NORTH COAST, NORTHERN TABLELANDS, NORTH WEST SLOPES and NORTH WEST PLAINS Forecast Districts.
Issued at 3:09 pm Saturday, 20 September 2008.
Severe thunderstorms may produce large hailstones and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Lismore, Grafton, Coffs Harbour and Tenterfield.
That Casino cell making progress in our way! That bloody beauty supercellular anvil over top of us so fast! Looks like some hail in it due to cold pool!
-
Its already hot and humid with nice Northeaster'ly seabreezes. Temperature now is 25.4/19.3 and feels like 26.7. Today outlook for the storms looking incredibly repeated since last October where we had tornado, hailstorms and violent supercells.
For today instability looks incredible at Li -8 and CAPE 2600!
Looks like one or a few HP monsters locally. Northern Rivers would be direct hit from most activity according to moisture profile and good solid windshear like on 17th December 2005 violent supercells. Any risk of tornado is low to moderate, could be anything according to windshear profile produce any rotations from any supercell monsters!
Now tomorrow is going far from the worse, instability deepening towards US Texas style supercells with severe Li's down to -10 and CAPE well above 3100!
Looks like best storm outbreak since last October yet to come! Bring it on rain and storms!

Hello all. This event is gone now. About to leave into Tasman. We had over 70mm of rain in last 24hours. Top wind gust around 90km/hr at coastguard last night where we reported 85km/hr gusts as show of proof.
The event total is 86mm (not including today we had 15mm out of the storm!!!). The storm we had this afternoon at 3:45pm, the winds is pretty breezy and the rain is very intense as you see 'red core' on radar images.
The backend of the storm with sunshine peeking out under heavy rainfalls.
Might get a storm from the north this evening before the red rover hits.
PS: If would be nice someone to comment on my photos and reports after each time i posted (such as this one)?
