Another warmish day but this time with added heavy showers. I think we got above 19C.

Second successive nice Saturday! Sunny and warm (max of 19.9C) although a bit breezy.

Is there really a chance of weather warning type showers here tonight? Any thunder potential?

A small but intense cell passed through with some deafening thunder and quite large hail.

Looking at the radar it seems the rain became somewhat less intense. Worst seems to be a bit further north too. Rainfall total 12mm so far here.

Brighter start but still about 7/8 cloud cover. Reporting Scotland showed 20C later for NE Scotland. I think we deserve at least one nice day!!!

I'm not expecting 30C, just some pleasant days around 20C would be fine. Not unrealistic here in July. We do get a lot of snow though ;-)

Ok, I'm quite tolerant but this summer is seriously starting to grate with me! Things are actually getting worse here. Windy, mostly grey and cool. This weekend has been garbage here... Unfortunately it looks to remain that way most of this week here too.

Gorgeous sunshine and feels perfectly pleasant outside although only 16C. If it were like this most of the time it would a fine summer. That's why it hacks me off when ignorant posters say we expect too much up here. We have quite low expectations but this summer we haven't even been meeting those!!! Anyway, enjoy today and tomorrow !
