    Well!! We have about 3 - 4 inches and more still falling but looking at the radar the band is dropping off to the south. I think this will stop after about another hour. Never mind - its been lovely!

    I haven't seen the latest forecast but the ones this afternoon showed the snow from about Chepstow eastwards. Has this changed then?

    Frustratingly the fronts are swirling around us to the North, East & West leaving central south wales clear in the middle

    I must be really dense but I'm looking at the radar and can't really see where the front is that's going to deliver all this snow?

    I'm a novice but the band that is curling around on itself way out west looks set to pretty much miss south east wales tonight - its moving to far south - maddening! Its like we have a snow shield round us here - missing it from all angles

    My kids are in Brynna. Its the fact the teachers have to travel that is closing the school. Still, I wouldnt be sent home form work though

    gggrr its so marginal here - light snow starting to stick but it has that 'wet' look about it. Nothing like what was being described further west - I think the band must be dying the further East its travelling
