    Snowing now but thawing too - I think the temps must be marginal? The bands that are currently over North West Wales / IOM - are they due to come down over South Wales later?

    BBC News forecast very poor for our areas just now - all the snow tonight is East of Newport and north - we were clear

    Wednesday morning looked brilliant - oh well I'm resigned to the schools being closed pretty much the rest of the week. Childcare will be a nightmare and I'll probably end up having to take unpaid leave.....but the kids will have fun at least!

    Yes, I think even in Pencoed I'm too far West - this is a Cardiff Eastwards event

    it looks to me like the showers die out when they hit the Brecon Beacons - nothing is materialising past the Beacons at all. BBC were right - clear & dry for us tonight I think

    Theres a band of showers moving SE - currently over the IOM / North Wales - could these make their way South enough?

    Didnt we have an event a few years ago when the band swung round back over us and gave quite a few inches in the end? I'm sure I remember that!

    Lol the kids across the road have done the same here too. I didn't think It would go down too well if I wemt out & told them to leave it alone! After all, as much as I love it - sadly the snow doesn't belong to me!

    Completely stopped here now - I think thats it for the night unless that streamer off the irish sea suddenly veers SE!! I would say we've had about 1 - 2 cm

    The band that is out over cardigan bay at the moment - where is this progged to go? Also, i estimated that there would be about 1 - 2 hours worth from the large area over us on the radar - would that seem about right? xx

    Gggrrr according to the radar it should be snowing here now and for the next 1 - 2 hrs but its stopped. We have a covering but WE NEED MORE! I am soo impatient!

    Heavy here - sticking hard to the surfaces in the 5 minutes since it started - amazingly fast coming down!
