    Local news just showed the snow starting about 4 -5pm and clearing away by about 9pm in the Cardiff area Not long enough really .......never mind

    Yes, I just looked at the radar and its already fully over me down here in South Wales - We've had moderate rain all morning. It also seems to be moving from West to East and not Northerly at all. I think thats it for the snow folks :o

    Thanks for that!! Although I love the snow it really causes a headache in as much as the local school will close - even if there is only a slight covering. Then I either have to take the day off work (usually unpaid) or drag elderly members of the family in at short notice to look after the children. Its only worth it if we get soooo much that we simply can't get out!! Otherwise it is 'expected' that I come into work.

    When? today or Monday/Tuesday? Everywhere I've looked the forecasts are for heavy rain overnight Monday/Tuesday but theres lots of talk on the forums of it being snow. What the likelihood at the moment of it actually being snow? I can see the school closing again Tuesday..........

    Bright, sunny but very cold here. A very light snow shower has obviously fallen overnight - a few flakes, nothing more. We completely missed it here <_< Metcheck (I know!!) are showing heavy snow again Monday into Tuesday. Is this likely? Its costing me a fortune in unpaid leave when the kids school is closed

    So it needs to meet in the middle at the right time and in the right place!! South East Wales hopefully & throughout the night so it has chance to settle!!
