  1. A normally busy road for the beaches has been closed preventing beach goers access This is the view along Sandbanks road to the Shell Bay ferry..due to the volume of visitors..meanwhile a slow climb has reached 27.2°C
  2. BCP wil be making good money today from parking fines as will dorset road safety on fines from the A338 road cameras....
  3. Fish and chips at 10am anybody? Clear and sunny after an overnight low of 13.6°C at: 05:58, currently 23.7°C with RH60% and a sea temperature of 17.4 °C...time to go and pick fruit methinks...

  5. OK, I have to come clean, I jinxed the weather today..it was so clear and sunny when I first posted, then about 5minutes afterwards the cloud rolled in..as the Sat image now shows a continual flow in from the North Sea, that's b....d up the sunshine for today then until the heat lifts later this afternoon and the clouds lift...maybe you missed the best part of the day Becka!
  6. The beachcam shot this morning says it all I think It is already quite warm standing out in the sun, with clear skies all around...after an overnight low of 12.2°C at: 05:42, currently 16.7°C and climbing, RH84% I think the UK radar system must be broken, as this is day two it looks like this Apart from some patchy cloud the satellite shot shows just how clear the skies are across the UK
  7. It's always interesting to see the interaction of the Azores high, in both Winter & Summer. This one seems to have "shot it's bolt" early as the potential for a cooler break looms (even for a short spell). Amazing how in the winter it can stay put for days, in summer it seems challenged even though the Jet stream gives it some breath to align itself (at least for a while). The Global Jet Stream forecast even suggests it will push the high awat..
  8. Morning All, a bright sunny start to the day after an overnight low of 12.2°C at: 06:01, currently 15.9°C with RH84% The beachcam shows a busy spell on the beach as the beach sweepers are busy tidying up from yesterday..
  9. That's what you get when all the flying ants near you, pee at the same time!
  10. Same here although as the beachcam shows breaks are a appearing, after a mild night with a low of 13.1°C at: 06:00, currently 14.9°C and RH93%
  11. Sat right in the sweet spot as the last 6 hour rainfall coverage suggests, with Mapantz on the western limb and a darker orange
  12. Interesting "features" on this radar display , the line curving south of Swanage has recently developed..
  13. That microclimate is in FULL flow this morning.... 54.2mm so far this morning here, dogs have flippers and snorkels to go out...
  14. Morning All, it's one of those "Nah" mornings...the dogs looked at the pouring rain and said "Nah, we are NOT going out in that!"...it was pouring though as the radar shot shows we are right under the heaviest patch...nice.. With the overnight low and the current temperature nearly the same, currently 12.8°C and so far we have had 29.2 mm of rainfall since midnight
  15. Some welcomed rain as I've been out sorting out one of the beds in the garden.. Norra lot of rain 0.8mm but it's welcomed after turfing the soil over...the flowers & shrubs will appreciate it..currently 14.0°C ..
