Looking further out the suggestion is that the inbound later in the week doesn't make massive inroads, but it possibly sufficient to cut a chink in the cold armour, as following that the next inbound front does make it across in to the Uk, and more follow next week. Let's see if your gut is right..

  9. It was snowing last night around midnight, went crazy for all of 5mins, car roof still has remnants The snowflakes have disappeared, leaving only the graupel. Right that's the winters snowfall done, time to move on
  10. Morning All clear skies with the overnight low of -2.1°C at: 07:09, with the wind in from the N/NE, providing a large degree of windchill this morning, currently “feels like” -5°C..

  13. Right so it's still overcast here and the temperatures peaked at 4.6°C at: 13:48, now down at the morning figures of 2.7°C, with the cloud around they are going to struggle to go that much lower I suspect..

Seemingly downgrade after downgrade, and tonnes of HYPE, gets us to a new week, which having seen the BBC(sorry but I pay a licence so I may as well see what it kicks out) outlook, the warmth returns by next weekend... Has to be said it's quite pleasant out there in the sun, trying to sort the garden out, only when the sun goes in does it feel cool Currently 4.6°C ..
