FINALLY! It's Snowing...tumbling down...must be about 1/2 cm deep in 1/2 an hour. That one flake I saw whizzing horizontally past my lounge window going forty mph this afternoon at 1507 was the precursor to this evening's event. I know how you must feel Paul. There you go... I knew there was a 'techie' around somewhere. Andy ...but having said that... How does one build a weather station website? Is there a template (or various templates) or is it just like building a normal website and putting on what you want. Can it be automated so that info from receivers go into the website automatically, or does the info need to be loaded manually. Any information would be gratefully received...Pottyprof, OON...anyone?

Interesting, SB I was recently given a book called "Since Records Began" which details the extremes of our strange weather here in the British Isles. The guy who wrote it writes a column in the Times about weather and it is very interesting. I don't know why we think these extremes are down to AGW...beyond me! Anyway, it's worth a read... Those shots are very good, Yeti, and they make me feel very homesick. I used to live in Harrogate til about twenty years ago. My family all live round there still. My wife and I did the 'hike' up the scar to the tarn at the top and back again when we still had usable knees...! If I remember right, it was about 8 miles round trip. The scenery is very beautiful and I miss it terribly - those huge open spaces. There are too many bloomin' trees round here to see very far and can become claustrophobic. We took our children up to Malham Cove a couple of years ago and had tea in the tearoom there. It is awesome to imagine the volume of water going over that cliff at one time... God's Country...sigh!
