This is a good site for looking at model data... specifically ECM data as you don't seem to find much of that around. This chart shows snow cover for all of Wales by Sat morn at 9am

Been consistently seeing lighter precipitation between Swansea and Carmarthen on the models. Sometimes it looks like it's a split between two bands...
This snow depth chart Derek posted shows the Swans-Carm snow shield in full force. At least we should see a little.. Enjoy being buried everywhere else!

First time post this 'winter' lol. Hope everyone enjoyed the wintry precipitation if they had any... haven't see much in south Carms except a few flakes, some soft hail stuff and a lot of sleet. Untreated roads around here this morning were like an ice rink, pretty deceptive to those who weren't expecting it to be icy - seen a couple of accidents.
Judging by the silence in here today the models ain't showing much promising!? Agh well, may we snow lovers have a nice surprise before winters out? Hopefully

A lovely 7.1c here. Fair play this has to be one of the worst winters I've been alive to see. I don't care much about snow anymore just bring in HP so we can have some of the desperately needed dry weather.

Derek Brockway's latest tweet on next Tuesday.
A front will bring a mix of rain, sleet and snow on Tuesday. Rain in #Cardiff & #Swansea. A little snow mid #Wales. pic.twitter.com/j2A3zJD8jD

Had a good snow shower covering everything, followed by hail, followed by BLOODY icy rain.

Anybody inland with a bit of elevation should do well.

Nice and cold tonight, perfect timing for the central heating to break ARGH!
-1.9c currently, I can see some showers on the radar making their way towards Pembrokeshire -
I have a SW facing bedroom window, horrendous but squall line has just passed so hopefully I'll be able to get some sleep.

yes, think colder air starting to get entrenched now again as temps had risen from earlier but should start to drop away now until daylight, icy start probably whether you have snow or not â„ï¸ Are you on higher ground?
Na, only 57m asl
Edit: Lighter ppn back to sleet, 1.1c. Knocking off, hope everyone wakes up to a bit of snow.

Gone from 3.7c to 0.9c in a matter of like 15 mins with this precipitation. Currently snowing light to moderate, can't see out much because street lights turned off but I can see a dusting on my conservatory roof

Wintry showers all day but the only settling snow was around 3pm, left a small deposit on cars and grass etc but soon thawed (57m asl).
Driving how from work about an hour ago which takes me over a hill and the snow line seems to be about 150m by me where there's a small covering of snow on most surfaces and a slushy deposit on the roads.
Hoping for a temp drop because it's increased to 3c, looking at the radar some nice showers coming in.

Thanks for sharing those pics Tony, looks great. Hopefully a taste of what's to come later for many more people

Looking at the precipitation charts it shows nothing over parts of West and South West Wales on Thursday! This is what I was on about when I posted earlier... snow shield between Swansea and Carmarthen that I keep consistently seeing! But I'm trying to be positive for snow... I'm sure there will be a dumping
