We had a shocking 35mm here yesterday! Very much needed though
Looking forward to a chilly evening tonight after a few mild nights, could see 8/9c overnight which will make sleeping alot easier and feel much fresher in the morning.
Currently 19c, gentle breeze and lots of sunshine, perfect!

Well it's the top 10 warmest for the CET region.
Yes I understand that Nick, I was merely pointing out that the above average theme for the summer so far is not countrywide.

I am outside of the CET zone so don't tend to take much notice of it, it is quite often a couple of degrees higher than my location for obvious reasons. As for here well if we are comparing against the 81-10 average.
June - 13.1c (-0.4c)
July - 15.8c (+0.0c)
August - 15.7c so far (+0.2c)
Looking at my statistics and then hearing from Nick that the summer may be be in the top 10 warmest I sometimes wonder if I live in a different country.

After the temp being 21.4c at midnight surprisingly we dropped to 15.2c this morning, wasn't expecting it to get below 16/17c. Currently Sunny and 17c and another nice warm summers day coming up although temps 5-6 degree cooler than yesterday.

Warm still, not a great night for sleeping, this has happened a lot this summer. 21c at midnight
We managed 27c here today, toasty! Although it's currently down to a chilly 20c which is the warmest night for a good few years in the part of country.

Cannot believe how warm it is out here still. 19-20c at midnight. Perfect. Not a breathe of wind either.
Yes we had what would be classed as a warm night here with a low of 15.0c, tonight looks even warmer still with temp possibly not dropping below 16/17c.

Aye that chart to me is a corker, just what I'm after as we head into the cool down period.

I agree Nick, we had a low of 8c this morning and a high of 21c this afternoon. Light breeze and clear blue skies, pretty damn perfect.

A cool cloudy start to the day. 13.3c after an overnight low of 12.4c.

15.5c here to the 14th. 0.3c above average, next week or so looking fairly average so not likely to change much.

Got sunnier as the day went on
Great timelapse! Some lovely meteors need the end if im not mistaken.

A max of 17c here today which isn't great for early August, but working outside it did feel quite pleasant at times. Been raining on and off for around 6 hours and it's starting to become more persistent now.
Looks likely we will see mid twenties or so here early next week, although nothing to suggest there's anything to challenge the summer high of 29c set back in July.
-
15.6c here to the 9th which is 0.4c above average, another drop looks likely after today's temps after a low of 9.1c and a high of 17c so far.
-
16.3c to the 7th. That's 1.1c above average, will be interesting to see how much it drops over the next few days, before a rise looks likely by next weekend.
-
14.8c here so far this month, thats 0.4c below average. A brief rise this weekend looks likely before dropping again next week. A significant above average month wouldn't go a miss, ideally August/September!
-
July finished 15.8c here. That's 0.3c above average for this neck of the woods and the first above average month since January
-
Hello? Is it winter yet?
-
CET currently 16.0c here which is 0.5c above average. July is looking like being the first above average month since January although looking at latest GFS its unlikely to rise much higher. The most notable aspect of July so far has been the lack of rainfall, currently on 22mm for the month so far as we have missed any torrential thunderstorms that some nearby areas saw last week. Hoping that the Azores high will nudge in from the SW soon and deliver us a nice settled August but the garden could do with 20-30mm first!

A warm start with some patchy cloud and sunshine
Temp 23.0c
Is your weather station in direct sunlight? Just checked all the weather stations in our area and nowhere is over 20c yet?
18.9c here with sunny intervals.

14.1c mean so far here in the Howardian Hills for July, which is around 1.5c below average, carrying on the below average theme so far this year.

July following June with the below average theme for the Summer, current July mean 14.1c which is around 1.5c below average for this area. Looking at the models no sign of that raising much over the coming week or so.
-
A slightly cooler than average month here with June finishing at 13.1c

It has been a different start to the month here compared to the CET zone due to an almost constant easterly component to the wind. Our average is a mere 13.2C to the 11th, which is 1.2C below the 1981-2010 average.
Even more so here slightly further North, mean is currently 12.3c with parts of the North York Moors averaging around 11c for the month so far. Goes to show how the easterly wind can really depress the temperatures.

A day of contrast today with a sunny morning and then now we have an almighty deluge.
The temp fell to 8.9c this morning and there was a lovely inversion with fog/mist in the valleys but it quickly warmed up with the max temp being 20.4c at 11.30am.
