the pressure is now rising 937mb ,calm as anything here ,took a chance feed stock early ,round 2 soon ,off to walk dogs early as well highest gust was 92mph which is ok ,we'll see what round 2 brings in meant to be going into work at 7.40 tonight,it would be very easy to get caught out by this one as it's totally calm ,looking at the news you'd think that this was it this is the sky out there at the moment

cannot believe the reports from the ferry on the bbc ,not forecast so took a ferry a ferry out some amazing videos popping up on my facebook page ,but cannot seem to share them on here of the harbor and causeway

i must be a bit thick skinned i'm just grateful for the info on here wind seems to have started a bit out there ,starting to hear a few gusts , 958 mb from just outside of stornoway just making my merry christmas phone calls phone was off over a week last time

i've done just about everything i can do now ,good luck to everyone with this and stay safe after experiencing 1989 ,in the south the january storm 2005 on the lewis ,i'm not to keen on these things now 962mb here and gusting to 50mph so nothing of note yet

great i'm meant to be travelling at 8 am on christmas eve ,and working in a care home i do have to be there .i'm sending the other half out for rope .i've more or less written off christmas day now ,i'm also getting fairly annoyed with the news ,still have netweather ,our ferries are now off after this sailing ,

i keep hearing that ,i showed somebody the charts ,who didn't have a clue and even they went that looks bad ,this storm is frightening me we face south on a incline facing stornoway ,i'm working ,i'm going to throw ropes over the roof of the house as well they did this years ago ,on the old croft houses ,the poly went in the first storm so that's not a worry ,i'm not bothered about christmas dinner as long as everything stays in one piece on the house and the stock is ok ,i hate it when i'm at work and if i can travel there and back is questionable
