    RAF Waddington near Lincoln currently has a thunderstorm according to Xc weather

    Thanks for the heads up on that was looking in the wrong place. Just turned the tv off and looked out East towards robin hood airport and saw a flash of lightening.

    Airforce bases in Lincolnshire ...Waddington and Coningsby both reporting Thunderstorm with rain.

    Manchester Airport report has Thunderstorm in the area according to XC Weather.

    sorry to drift off the topic of our storms for a sec but wow what an explosion that around Torino is.

    I reckon we do only play at it here judging by the explosive clouds down the Eastern Coast of Spain visible on the link.

    Thats a good take on things around here, i'm 4 miles East Of Rotherham and have darker sky's towards my NW the Barnsley area.

    rumbles getting closer and louder now here form the S or SSW. would anyone know the height of the cloud tops as i'm sure i've just heard an aircraft looking to avoid CB at 33.000ft.

    Good i do hope your right wonder if its worth stopping up as the flashes ( 2 of them ) seemed to come from the area East of here towards the Humber which looks to be moving away.
