    You should have a chance soon, i think were gonna need some very heavy snow for it to start settleing although really is trying to come down fast here now it must surely settle on snow already lying though just about building up on the car windowscreen

    If anything the precip over wales and the west midlands is increasing intensity looks like some places must be getting seriously hammered

    netweather radar could do with getting back on track so we can see whats actually happening, not worked for 20mins

    snow still coming down at a steady rate wouldnt take much more to start sticking although i would have thought it will add to areas where snow is on the ground

    Leicester should get snow soon started as sleet here but now its quite heavy snow, heaviest since the worse of yesterdays snow im just hoping it remains snow i wrote snow quite alot there

    Just look at the radar quite some time based on that Getting heavier here, definately not sleet now

    Turned to snow here now and a little heavier, the bbc weather showed how marginal it was for here between snow and rain

    slightly heavier now and more falling as snow, radar looks good for here hopefully see something heavier in the next 30mins or so

    link not working sam, precip here isnt sure what it wants to fall as, i definately think we could do with a heavy spell of snow to cool the air down a little

    It needs to turn to snow as the sleet is moderate and everythings melting quite rapidly

    it is a little sleety here, although in each heavier burst its all snow, nothing really heavy enough atm

    looking at the pressure chart for right now using the netweather radar seems as though most areas will be having the wind from an easterly direction which hopefully should maintain the 850s to remail low enough for sometime.

    Very shocked was thinking id wake up to see precip just south west of wales trying to push in overnight and find its knocking on the doorstep right now, infact its just started the odd flake at the min round 2!!!!!!!

    The snow we have today should now last until its eventually washed away, the more snow that stays around tommorow as i expect some wil melt the better as the temps will remain lower, giving us a better chance of snow when the next front moves in, im hoping that the timing of saturdays low is similar to today of around 6am Midlands today forecast had it arriving as snow at 5am, although rain wasnt far south of here, so could be a close 1, need that low a little further south over the next few model outputs

    Either looks good for snow here at least for a short while anyway which is more than i could ask for now after todays snow

    Backs up there forecast just now, still looks good going by what they say for a large area of the uk to at least see snow for a time on saturday I think the timing of this 1 will be crucial though given how marginal it could be

    Same as round here although this is pretty much the last of it when this has gone, which i suspect will be in 30-40mins time, has been a very good day tho, let me know when it stops snowing where you are

    moderate snowfall here to, i expect probably will add upto 1 cm more before being done and dusted for the evening, hoping for some very low temps there after, and a low going somewhat further south on saturday

    Snow coming down quite nicely here, still looks like it will be around for another hour or so, and as the temps have now dropped below freezing its building up again I hope the low for sat helps bring snow nationwide, even if it does turn to rain, as even though weve had a decent amount its been at a very slow rate, a cm an hour on average. wouldnt mind seeing 5cm in 1 hour before turning to rain on sat

    What next... The front reintensifys unexpectably and gives us all another few inches of snow??, still moderate snow here

    temp must have dropped below freezing as even this very light snow currently here is sticking to the car which i not long came back in Currently getting heavier

    Its unlikely although its not impossible, if theres nothing near you on the radar check back in an hour to see if things are any different

    Snow increasing here in intensity, hope this little lot just to the east of birmingham tops up what we have already It just doesnt want to give up
