Update From Paul S on Ian's account We are sitting tight in Gainsville and have elected not to Chase the stupid fast moving Supercell about 60 miles North of here, our attention is drawn to a new storm that is going to track near to Sherman, we will move east on 82 and watch it come to us.   2. Hi Guys We are in Woodys Bar in Pratt having Refreshments at the moment before our Overnight stay in Witchita (Ks) in readiness for tomorrow. Have had a very Sobering day in Greensburg today, some of the guys have done some interviews with locals who were in tears and brought us to tears with stories, the place still looks like Ground Zero and we have some very sombering Photo shots. Paul, Nick and Michael will post our target later today, but all the guys are raring to go for tomorrow. Ian Cameron

Hi all have just retiered to our rooms after a few beers ( and sambuca shots ) with Stewart and the boys we are currently in denton ready for a travel day tomorrow, all our kit and systems are loaded so we are ready for anything the plains can throw at us! Tom it will be good to have you out here in a couple of weeks though you will have to catch up on the 32 oz beers thank to you all for the nice words of encouragment I hope you all can keep up with the chase as it looks like it will there will be good conditions for the best part of this week and we can post pictures of storm structere rather than just us stuffing our faces though I seem to enjoy that part as well!! Right have just finished packing I know all a bit last minute but heres the list 2 hand held radios with all the trimmings ie MIB style ear peices ETC 2 radio units for the cars ( just like the ones you get in minnie cabs) 1 sat phone cannon D300 camara + all the acceseries samsung digital camara camcorda enough cloths so evan a women would be embarresed 15 CDs all types of music ( guys bring your own if you want a chioce) some tea bags Ian

Hi Tom its good to see you on the forum I am fighting fit though like Nick i cant believe we have just over one month until were out in the plains again where has the time gone! like you said im sure we will meet at some point for a good 32 oz beer or three and exchange of stories.   9. Phill you could not be any worse than Paul S his storm sheild has ment southend has been storm free vertuly since he moved there they seem to just disapear! RE the not liking flying why not chase a few storms in northen france they may not be as big as the ones state side however you get good lightning storms even from these shores looking out towards france I now a few members that chase around there and get some good shots in the summer months Ian

  13. Hiya folks thanks for the kind words so far it's really good to know that the trip will be followed avidly while we are out state side. All your thoughts and input while we are out there is really encoureging for us knowing people back home are getting enjoyment from what we are able to post and share with you all. B) I cannot believe theres only five weeks to go with so much still to organise and sort out and I'm sure before we know it well be sitting on the plane in antisipation of the adventures to come will try and dig up some pics from last year to remind everyone of what might be in store Ian Cameron

Good link there SS I think the it shows you how futile trying to interfer with mother nature is, In my opinion it is stupid to think man could manipulate mother nature and control or at least deflect storms it's a very dangoures game they play!! and have these boffins looked into what will happen to all this soot there planning to release into the atmosphere Ian Cameron
