  1. Thats two below average summer months in a row :o Not many people forecasted that, second half of August was very cool, the past week the CET dropped, alot were going for it to rise not me though
  2. I doubt west will be just as excited when one spot in the far north of scotland has daytime temps 4C below average in late february Most places were near average yesterday... only 17C here today with lots of cloud.
  3. The flood affected areas of the past two months will be very happy with this dry spell, i cant believe on other forums people are actually saying we need some rain Where have they been the past few months, we don't need any at all here in the midlands, everything is green and lush with high river levels and full reservoirs.
  4. Whether it was reached or not it's been a very poor summer for heatwaves that's for sure and time is running out fast now as August progresses the nights draw in fast, i already notice the darker evenings and mornings. Only one hot day in the midlands and no heatwaves this year in the UK so far, i count heatwaves as widespread readings of 30C+.
  5. Yes bottesford what a letdown for us midlanders today even worse further north, overcast here in the west midlands too, not even that warm really nothing out of the ordinary for early August.
  6. Yes if it wasn't for all the rain and dull conditions even a cold CET in July can be pleasant, let's hope for the same kind of negative CET anamoly in a winter month in the near future
  7. You won't need to stay out for long before you come back rushing in needing to warm up
  8. In Coventry it's been the Wettest June Day since records began in 1892 Second wettest day ever recorded since records began too Almost 70 mm and i think some places in warwickshire with no rainfall measuring gauges recorded even more i'm sure of it I saw some cars stuck in flooded roads, incredible 24 hrs really and there are more heavy thundery showers around now too. http://bws.users.netlink.co.uk/1.HTM
