Yeah, we got offered a couple of tickets for that but couldn't go. Would've been a bit much today. -
Possibly a wise move... Got a BBQ to go to later in Downton. Was going to walk, then get the bus while attempting not to end up a sweaty mess, but... Our lovely neighbour has just offered to drop us down there. Will walk back after the Sun sets, but it should be fine by then.

Been picking normal cucumbers for ages now, but didn't notice this one at ground level, as it was obscured by leaves... Absolutely obscene.

Lovely out again. The best bit is our no beer on a school night policy is null and void, when the temperature is over 26C.

We had them twice this weekend. I gathered about 20 neighbours in the field yesterday and luckily they came over. If I'd have done the same today, we'd have been disappointed as they were late leaving Hurn and changed their route.

We went back today and caught the Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire on the way back to Southbourne. Then the Typhoon Eurofighter, which was awesome. Looks like we get a Red Arrows flypast again at home, this afternoon.

Red Arrows just flew over the garden. Must have buzzed the End of the Road Festival, as they got smoke.

Cleaning up nicely for the air festival. There'll be a scrap for my parking spot, as I leave Southbourne shortly.

It's not quite as bad as looks on the webcam. I've got as far as Canford Cliffs and there's pockets of blue about. Edit... Just walked by Tony Pulis playing Cricket at Sandbanks with his Grandkids. His field settings were very organised.

It seems pricey at first, but it's not bad per session, I reckon. On the application form there's an option to pay in installments.

I've just applied for the Practical Horticulture course at Sparsholt, near you. Runs all day on a Friday, starting 22nd Sept. Have a look, they might cover bindweed. I wanted to do the RHS Level 2, but that runs on a Tuesday, when I'm at work.

OH has her friends around for dinner. Now I've cooked for them, I've been relegated to the patio to listen to the footie in the drizzle. Can't even have a pint, as it's a school night.
