Dorsetbred Just started now, but got a full day in, outside.
Interesting little bit of convergence just inland, producing a few showers.
-
Dorsetbred Yeah, just spoke to Mum down Fawley way. She says it's been Sunny all day.
Not bad here. Bright with Sunny spells.
Scratch that. Clouding up from the South...

jy I don't think the rain is due until later jy, so you should get away with it.

Andy Bown Was thinking the same Andy.
There's a gap in the channel, before the next load of gloom heads in, but not hopeful.

Dorsetbred It's not too shabby here now. Patches of blue round and about. Ironically, it looks cloudier down South, but I think we'll still give it a go.

Spitting with rain this morning. Not very pleasant and it looks set in for the weekend.
OH knocks off at lunchtime today, so we're planning to head to Southbourne for a walk and to wave at db's webcam, but it all looks a bit meh.

jy Yes, I wrote that book.
I have my bi-weekly mowing job to do tomorrow, for nextdoor.

Looking at the Sat image and the direction of cloud travel, there are a few breaks.
If there's one saving grace, the forecast has overdone cloud amounts for the last few days here and it's broken more than expected.

Andy Bown Yep, here it is on my way back, looking your way.

*Stormforce~beka* Agreed. Woke up to a lovely morning too, but looking at the satellite, it won't last then that's it for the next few days. Pathetic really.

Cracking evening now.

Decent evening out there now. Plenty of sunshine.
Got 90 mins of digging done, after work. On the home straight now.

Cloudy here too now, if it's any consolation.
Warmest place is in the greenhouse at a lovely 21C. Might have to test the WiFi signal in there.

Same as Andy, here. Feared for the worst first thing, but it's decent out there now.
-
*Stormforce~beka* Ah, yeah that'll be it.
If I finds worms when digging, they go straight it the composter.

jy Yeah, I've had two bays for a couple of years. Once sifted it's decent stuff, but I guess I should shred the twiggy stuff before I put it in.
This year, I've built one more from pallets and discarded stock fence posts that I find on my walks. Got space for two more in the same area, to keep it rotating.
-
jy Do you use it for mulching mostly?
*Stormforce~beka* You need to wee on it.

A few spots of rain this morning, nothing more, so far. Pretty cool too.
The fields are drying out at least, now, so no more muddy boots walking across the fields.

*Stormforce~beka* Dunno, was just explaining what jy meant. We'll get ours from Baskets and Blooms, nr here.

Cracking day again.
Big difference between working in the open, in the breeze and sitting on the patio, out of it. Done now, I can sit on the latter with a pint and listen to the FA Cup semi.

*Stormforce~beka* Hardy in heat.
6 for £3.50.
Looks decent out there this morning. The cloud is on the Western horizon and moving away.

*Stormforce~beka* So sorry to hear that.
