    Started off as wet snow, but it was coming down so fast it was actually settling, dry powdery stuff now and its settling nicely. This is certainly the most snow we`ve had here in december for a long time!

    WOOOOOO got thunder n lighting here, so, for the first time ever, we have thundersnow!

    We got snow here atm, I hope it doesnt turn to sleet or even worse, rain! We still got all the covering from yesterday left over.

    Im just under under the start of the big blob on the radar just off the ayrshire coast. Radar says sleet, its falling as snow here, so its giving a nice topping up after yesterday!

    looks snowy outside. Got about 1"-2" so far. Its stopped just now, but hopefully there will b more 2night. If i can see the grass, its not gd enough! Its raining abit now! Its all melting!

    heavy snow bn on n off all day. Was raining earlier, then turned bk to snow! Just had a very heavy hail shower, hail was getting pretty big too!

    would be nice for that big chunk of precipitation to swing in over ayrshire!! lol, got nothing decent where i am, just 1cm, and alot of its melted as theres bn sleet and rain through the day! Would love to see some REAL snow for a change here!

    GRRRRR we`ve had nothing but heavy rain here! The snow was still on the ground earlier, up till about one this afternoon, and then the rain came on!!

    thanks guys! Id like to do more at some point, but we hardly get any storms here. Every time i go away for a week, theres storms, and when i get back, it all stops!! grrrr lol

    Dont think im goin to get anything here! It seems to haev jumped over here, yesterday, the north of england had a pasting, now, the north of scotland! It must be that big bubble again!

    The met office should be in the north of england, that way, theres no southern bais with the warning systems! soz, just my personal opinion!

    theres nothing in kilmarnock for the locusts to eat! Well im not gonna get my hopes up for snow, i think its all over now! Especially for this area!

    still sending it down here, but it hasnt amounted to much here, maybes a cm at most meh thinks!

    bn snowing for about an hour here now. ground was wet at first but, it managed to come down heavy enough that its starting to settle. Its eased off a little bit in the past 5 mins, but lets hope it keeps up!

    hehehe! Wish we had more tho, and it stayed below freezing all day, could have had some lovely pictures. Last time we had that amount of snow........about 4 years ago maybes!

    got about 1-2cm here, most we`ve had for..........2 or 3 years!!!! Its still coming down pretty well too!

    slight covering here too!=p It looks like the drizzle in ayr is moving over here and freezing on its way down. Theres the odd big flake mixed in sometimes. Im surprised we have snow here tho, its not often we get it! I see rankinston was white on tuesday morning. They always get a good dumping up there, the altitude helps!

    well it is! drive down, see for yourself!!! it is a dusting tho, and at the mo its pretty much stopped, back to the ice crystal things for the moment! Maybes coylton is just the wrong place to be!
