First change in the weather I think next band out in the North Sea is showing as sleet not rain which has been lingering around all day, can anyone check the wind direction is it changing?

Just checking through other regions we have had hardly any snow or have we? I reckon we had just under a foot over Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday but with melt, evaporation and the wind blowing it doesn't feel like we had that much. Look at some of the other regions and they have been buried or is it worse in our higher areas? Ian

Everything covered again but not measurable Miles warmer today without that wind should see lots of melt today end of an exciting week weather watching

A couple of thoughts based on the above, pinks are now showing over us on the radar and it is snowing IMBY

No the 62 is still shut but after the Bradford junction so should be fine

The band of snow moving North has grown in size and strength watching the radar will it get this far North?

Watched BBC weather about 3 times this morning and as the day wares on some snow coming north from the south later tonight probably fizzling out and then another feature for Saturday night coming across the North Sea but showed as mixture as temps on the up, don't know how correct this will be!

And as much as we all wish for more Snow this is what are country comes too and this is because we don't have a lot of snow so can't cope when it does come

Oh well 2 days working from home staring out of the window comes to an end, need to visit 3 customers tomorrow Ossett, Manvers then Doncaster, fingers and toes crossed for me all, for lots more snow tonight so I can cancel ?
