Snow stopped now but wind has really got going, my phone has just flashed up a Amber warning, could this be the area to the South East pushing up?

Well been on and off all night and pretty much on since about 4am looking back through the radar, don't have a flat surface to measure but measuring the bin lid which has been cleared numerous times, I'm guessing if this had fallen all at once we must be over 10"/25cm.

And still it comes down, I guess without any melting today 15cms here and looking at the radar still more to follow, kids schools shut already for tomorrow

Absolutely banging it down and only a small shower according to the radar, all surfaces covered in minutes and roads again

That first band hitting Normy now S/England of Leeds started quite light but getting heavier and winds really picked up again

Had about 2 hours of no snow, quite a thaw where the sun has been shining, some of the smaller showers are packing some punch now just had a mini blizzard winds picked up and temps dropped and re covered some of the melted areas

Very heavy again over about 4" now! Anyone else in Normy / Cas area wow, never witnessed snow like this

All our delivery vehicles struggling up and down the Eastern side of the country today from North to South

Last shower dropped about an inch cleared the car and drive waste of time lol

Only about an inch here and schools open kids gutted Youngest ones just been closed snow quite heavy here now

Just drove back from Hull M62 between Ouse Bridge and Selby proper coming down

Still falling here no intensity though and can see blue skies through the clouds, there is also no wind at all

2cm here waste of an Amber warning

I can't see that blob in the North Sea being just it, there must be something else brewing for there to be an Amber warning, does it grow in strength as it gets closer does it create more unstable flow from the East not sure to be honest?

Watch North East I believe that is the start of the low pressure I would like to think anything that falls from now on will not melt like today's snow!

There has been shower activities off the coast of Aberdeen all day but not moved

Not been on for a few years lack of winter weather just had about 30mins of hail covered everywhere in 2 minutes no snow at all and has left about an inch plus a flash of lightning roads horrible

Where has all my snow gone Good covering around 5-6cm at 8.30ish this morning Been raining since about 11am and now nearly all gone If some of the higher parts have had non stop snow must be 10"-12" possibly in the Peak District areas???

Car and grass covered, drives and road covering now also and now stopped bit of blue sky and lots of dripping oh well

Well I am in Normanton and the wet stuff has just arrived and it's not rain at the moment but icy pellets

Well a few weather temps today on my travels all from the car 7am Normanton 4oC 8am Top of M62 3.5oC 1pm Warrington 8oC 3pm top of M62 5oC 4pm Normanton 4oC Hardly any frosts, hardly any snow, not even much left over the tops @ 1200ft I 'd love to see a proper cold spell again

Keeping an eye on those showers over the Ne at the moment but I think IMBY they will be of rain if they get past Wetherby and York!!! Cold Spell My backside!!!!
