A question from me who loves the cold and snow but tries to understand what people are commenting on in here. What happens to the weather between day 5 (120 hours) and the elusive day 10 (240 hours) that bit is very rarely talked about? Also if cross model agreement at what point do we believe it 24, 48, 72, 96? Serious questions (sound daft I know)

light rain, anything heavier a few flakes mixed in, either not cold enough or not heavy enough a bit heavier now and more flakes some quite big will it drop temp enough though for it to stick?

Just looked out now, have a snow covering on cars etc, first snow since last Winter All surfaces now covered must be colder than suggested and both BBC / METO only had less than 10% chance of PPN and rain as well

Difficult to get exact measurements this morning anything from 0 to 12cms drifts a lot deeper, wind has really blown it around

Met office spot on well done Can't believe the difference after 4pm 2-3 inches blizzard like conditions, eldest lad at Wakefield v Widnes must be called off soon

That's what I am under now very heavy and completely covered deffo a couple of inches out of the last 2 showers

Last shower lasted 20mins covered everything just awaiting the next, reckon an inch just being blown around

Current shower miles better as said above wind really picks up all snow this one cars and grass covered

Fantastic shower here at the moment pretty much all hail though getting the ones coming in from slightly north of Hull powder snow at the end
