  1. I Find this rather amusing..... just shows you how much a little bit of change can make a difference aye.
  2. Looks like another band of rain is heading North (at this current stage in time) I expect this to change to a more N Easterly direction later on. GFS seems to indicate this as well as NW Radar (700pha Wind Vec) shows this nicely, Met Office also jumping on the GFS bandwagon. Nevertheless we will see how it turns out. Correct me if i'm wrong from the above throughts, i'm still a novice. Tom.
  3. Any kind souls reading this thread that are located on or near the lickeys, can you please tell me what the conditions are like on the tops ? I was planning to head up there later. Melting snow ? Temperature ? A38 Passable ?
  4. I think it will, low still hasn't stalled just yet. Although as you said it only light pnn. Still enjoy it while it last people.
  5. Luckily Warwickshire has the luxury of snow ploughs to my knowledge ??? I think Worcs council has just run dry on grit lol, even the main road hasn't been gritted ...terrible
  6. Yes I was just about to comment on that, It is slightly worrying. -0.2c here in Bromsgrove, been rising quite quickly over the last hour or so.
  7. Will see about that, I'm quite pleased to say the least anyway, roads out there are very very slippery. Cars sliding down hills roads are like ice rinks.
  8. Snows turning heavier now, probably going to be a total white out soon, I think my area will do quite well out of this. What part of south Birmingham are you located Cher ?
  9. Started to snow lightly here in Bromsgrove now, Temperature seems to have dropped -0.3c - 0.5c interesting... *yawns* not sure if I'll be able to do an all nighter at this rate.
  10. Deary me not another Frenchy Low stitching up our chances for the Midlands once again. I really hope it's not a repeat of what happened last time.
  11. I'm also getting a little confused at which band of rain/snow is going to be the feature for the Midlands I've been tracking that band of heavy rain heading up from France for the last 4-5 hours now and it looks like it's heading NNE ??? Can anyone enlighten me on this other than saying it's just heading west because it doesn't look like it to me ? More detail would be appreshated...... Best Regards, Tom.
  12. Finely ... the showers are starting to group together, precipitation is starting to pep up even more to the east.
