  1. What the hell is wrong with the GFS , it's just a total mess. UKMO rescues the day again for the midlands.
  2. Really hope we actually get something here in West Midlands rather than having the scag ends from the break down few days back, Midlands doesn't seem to do very well unless fronts hit cold air and produce snow. Met Office have updated there warnings on there website for the 29th ..... Still there's plenty of time for change. Merry Christmas everyone.
  3. I'll be jumping on and off here tomorrow to view GFS and ECM Charts. Merry Christmas and have a good un' !
  4. Snow starting to settle here in Bromsgrove temperature is dropping off slow now. Rung my GF up as shes trying to get back home from work in Reddich in a rear wheel drive car and it's settling on the roads. Not good! lol
  5. Is it settling in Reddich ? It's not really settling here although there's a slight slushy covering on the car.
  6. Wintry Mix here in Bromsgrove at the moment. Temp: 0.5c
  7. Sleety rain here at the moment the shower is just to the west of me.
  8. Just spotted that Nick, seems like it's heading my way.
  9. I agree snowmoon, i think our county might see see some snow later, i don't think it would be the heavy stuff though. Front will stall around south east brum then move back east again me thinks.
  10. I hope so I'm just south of Birmingham so it would be nice to see some snow for a change rather than ice days and frosts. Even a little bit of a covering would be nice. :)
  11. Agreed. If anyone's using Netweather's Radar switch to 850pa Wind Vectors, should give you some idea how the band is progressing north (ish)
  12. Generally anywhere south west of brum might get to see some snow showers on Monday if this is the case..... SW county's do well if there is showers moving inland from around the mouth of the seven.
  13. Hope so lol , I can understand the frustration and even anger from some of the members on this forum today after the commotion we last night from the cold front, some were lucky and some very disappointed.
  14. Heavy sleet here in Bromsgrove , nice to hear reports of snow in Reddich and Birmingham just up the road.
  15. Very lucky indeed, not sure if it's going to be snow the other side of the lickey hills though such as bromsgrove or reddich.
  16. Andy, the cold front (as the BBC stated in there forecast) was to take a slightly more ESE track rather than a SSE as the cold front made progress from the north ...... And yes 'Whitestuff' the fragmentation is temporary on the west side of the front, West Midlands will see something from this but not as much as some of the eastern county's. <_< (That's if it is snow that falls)
  17. I haven't had chance to look at the 12z yet, thank you for the useful posts by the way (seen as I do have to travel to work tomorrow). We usually do well from streamers from the Cheshire Gap if not we should see some of the white stuff surely ...
  18. Still looks a bit marginal for us really blizzards for Worcestershire, hopefully this will change....
