Very heavy rain here in Gloucestershire at present, with strong gusty wind. Temp around 8c. At home today, keeping eye on thermometer!

Weather reminds me of being a kid in the early eighties, getting home from school with heavy rain and cold, full of expectation! So, in the words of that child its really trying to snow here! The heavy rain is interspersed with sleet, the sky hints at heavy snow not to far up. My dubious 'garden' thermometer says 3c. My elevation is 30m asl.

Tiny flakes falling sporadically, seen with very bright garden light! If they settle we'll get a dusting built up in approximately 3 weeks... Happy for those with more though.
