  1. Looks like swansea is in line for alot of snow with that band from manchester heading its way. Been snowing here for nearly an hour.
  2. They did say it was likely to intensify into the Evening (maybe because of extra moisture coming off English Channel).
  3. They still said 30cm forecast for central England as when the main band in English Channel curls round centre of Low, it all passes Central England.
  4. On BBC News, Met Office has downgraded 40cm to 15/20cm for Central England... peaking at 10pm Tonight and lasting into Wednesday Morning. Latest forecast said snow Tonight stretching from London area to Cardiff. Central England 30cm (which is more than MetO saying).
  5. The band of snow over north wales sinking south will provide snow for Wales this Evening and then precipitation out in the English Channel is expected to come ashore and turn over on Central UK before moving South East Tomorrow.
  6. Currently there's patchy cloud. I think the further East & South, the better the chances of seeing quite a bit Tonight. Met Office have a warning for Monmouthshire: We'll have to look at live radar as things can change quickly .
  7. Had a nice covering from snow that fell around Midday. The sun came out not long ago, temp shot up and a big thaw for exposed places. Going to be interesting to see what happens Tonight, hmmmmm...
  8. The Metoffice and BBC haven't updated in a while, but if you watch the BBC's latest forecast they do point out heavy snow Tues>Wed for the area.
  9. That would be great for me, but a nightmare for the M4 Corridoor, 29cm!
  10. If we go with these charts, What time are we expecting this snow event to begin for us in Wales as there is established heavy snow between midday-6pm Tomorrow?
  11. It's -4C and 11pm. Not seen such temps this early on my Weather Station before.
  12. wowowow. Really great charts! IF this pulls off....
  13. -2C and not even 7pm. I wonder if it'll beat last Nights -4.5C here.
  14. BBC have just updated their charts online. Going by it, SE Wales could have around 8 hours of snow Tuesday Night/Wednesday Morn! I'll try and not get too excited at these prospects.
  15. Weather Warning for heavy snow in East Wales on Wednesday? So Tomorrow Mornings band of sleet/snow is only going to be light apart from North & West?
  16. Tuesday morning between 6-9am snow is forecast to cross us. May be sleet further west and as it tracks east the showers weaken, so it'll be hard to say until hours before.
  17. Just seen latest BBC Forecast and they say snow Wed-Fri for SE and then on the weekend an active Low from Central Europe could deliver even more!
  18. going to be an interesting week of weather! BBC's latest forecast was quite wow for SE England Wed-Fri. Hopefully the low will come further west so we get a nice share of it. They also mentioned an active Low from central Europe over weekend which could result in snow from Wed-Sun for SE England!
  19. Seen that forecast too! Looked like constant snow for South East England from Wednesday to Friday! (and they told people not to panic)
  20. Just seen the latest BBC Forecast on TV . For us the West on Tues/Wed looks good for showers off Irish Sea but by later in the Week, Wales has a chance with a front coming south over England. They stuck their necks out and said constant snow for South East England Wed-Fri but told people not to panic .
  21. It's falling as rain in West Wales, but in East Wales it's falling as snow. RainToday shows this too.
  22. Who bets the band of showers fizzles out over Brecon Beacons and we get left with moist cloud in SE.
