    The MAD thread is in full swing regarding next week with the potential snow! It is often a frustrating read lol......The best snow events are often short lived, and they can occur several times, there doesn't need to be deep cold for lots of snow, however that doesn't seem to float some of their boats on there

    It looks like shaping up to be as predicted for the rest of winter being more mild in the second half of winter, as per usual these days the spoiler is intense cold in the states and Canada firing up a powerful jet stream.......

    Coastal areas with a wind off the land should be ok, windward coasts not so........

    Slightly warmer air is undercutting at the surface, on low ground expect anything to fall as rain or sleet initially then to snow if you are lucky.....

    Light snow in Dorchester, a gentle breeze picking up maybe picking up a bit of moisture off the channel.....
