  1. Well east of here I'm afraid...though you can never rule out the odd rogue flash and bang.

Doesn't it feel nice out in the rain though? So much fresher! Lovely breeze too, got all the windows open in the house and it's cooling down a treat.

the rain is nothing noteworthy really looking at the radar tbf, a lot of light blues in the vicinity, as people have said earlier 'landan' could take a direct hit

  2. Paceyboy, on 27 Jul 2013 - 00:21, said:The most intense rainfall is almost certainly a west midlands event on that chart azores! An area within Gloucester to Stoke to Notts to Coventry to evesham back to gloucesterIt better be thundery!

most of the more intense precipitation to me seems to a little further east with us being on the western end of the front, anyway, pedantic detail, it may change in the morning, we shall see, it may be the faded lines tbf!
  3. doubt we'll get any thundery activity tomorrow if im honest, looking at the majority of models, once again the majority of activity will be in essex/suffolk area i wouldve thought over to parts of the home counties. Will be bog standard rain over here, and probably not enough to replenish the ground after such dry weather of late.

  4. Yeah was a rare treat though seeing our early deluges come through the area with some sheet lightning as well. Have to say, got my hopes up it may go on throughout the day but in usual british fashion that was soon shown to be wrong. Thursday is looking so so for shower activity with moderate CAPE levels, so let's see, things can change(and usually do) for the better/worse and we wont know until tomorrow evening really. Chances are IMO just scattered showers rather than anything memorable, going by past experience.

  5. the county or Lichfield? didn't miss out as such, few good flashes/loud rumbles, but here is never as good as west midlands county, for snow either

depends whereabouts you are in the county i guess as its so extensive, i think central parts such as stafford/uttoxeter miss out more than perhaps urban fringes of the midlands

  6. Going to carry on for a while here yet. Stuff around Gloucester is heading this way and intensifying. Few more flashes and rumbles again now. It isn't over for

Another hour it so yet! Posted Image

yep and then greedy old me will be sulking when it brightens up later :( if it starts the day wet i cant stand it being sunny and damp, thats when all the insect friends come out
