John I did not know you had so had such a busy life
I know Tom, how dare I have a life outside Stormchasing! Apparently September 17th is out aswell. Nother Wedding

Weekend of the 23/24 suites me best.
The young lady wife is doing a hen night the weekend of 9/10 so I'm babysitting
and we have a wedding 16/17 so thats gone for me.
The little one has a hospital appointment up in Dublin on the 29th so thats doable if I fly ought from Dublin but it would be easier on to fly out from cork as I think a 3 - 4 hour drive without someone to entertain Caoimhe would be interesting for the driver.
Like Arron said, this not my pary either so work away how ye see fit but I would love to attend. So start of July is grand for me but waaay too soon for sure for most people, 23/34 July would be great, and July 30/31 is probably doable but would be difficult. First weekend in August is free too but second weekend just before the lads are heading off to Arizona I have another weeding on Friday 12th August up the country so doable but depends on the location. Either way I realise I've a good few dates that may not work for other people so work away.

Welcome home lads. Huge huge massive thanks to Paul S for the best storm chase i have ever had, ever..... EVER !! Massive thanks to Arron for putting up with my isims for approx 5000 miles. Huge huge thanks to Ross, Alison and Kim for all the entertainment during said miles (sory about all the swearing) and letting me nick some of their footage as I didn't get much time to get any of my own. Terry, I got to get me a Tamron Lens like yours, that thing was awesome. Mr Vicary, what can I say, great room mate with a hot girlfriend on facebook. You are a bit of a legend! BTW your mum is awesome. Cant wait to see her on the chase next year. Supermassive thanks to Ian for finally taking some of the p**s away from me from our U.K friends and for teaching them what a Dublin accent is really like, yez are greah!
Last but not least, thanks to Paul and Ian (M) and all at Netweather for making all of this possible and allowing me to participate in this. My wife loves ye . And of course thanks to Ian C, Tom and the other tour members that I didnt get to meet this year for all the entertainment back home.

Crazy chase day! One of the best ever for me. Monster hail, multiple funnels, violently rotating gustnadoes, CG hit no more than 6 feet from the car (this is not an exaggeration). Cows getting knocked over. 2 quick vids from me before I head to bed... all I have the energy for. More will follow. Both in HD

Evening.....
I am at the Airport ready for my flight tomorrow!!
Had a few drinks at the hotel bar
Whats the plan for tomorrow John, shall i check in to the best western and sort the room and see you there......or head back to the airport and meet you guys for drinks?
Those arriving tomorrow I will PM my mobile number, if you could send me yours that would great....
See you tomorrow guys!!!!
Hey Dave,
Since I'm on the same flight as the lads, the meetup will be done so I'll head straight to the Hotel so see ya there. If we all have any extra energy after that a rodeo / few drinkies at a convienient neutral location wouldnt be out of the question. This is a nowcast Play by ear and see how everyone is feeling. Does anyone know what flight Ian (Dubweather) is on or time he is in at.

I like fluffy bunnies.

You'll be a lot happier once you are drinking in Dallas. Have you got your nicorette?
I'm off that now Trevor. O.K no I'm not. As you know I'm a very relaxed person and I'm taking this in my stride.

So are you now on our flight?
p.s only just about to start packing..
AA79 ?
-
Payed a good bit extra for a BA flight, only to find out while checking in online that its operated by AA. Then redirected to AA website by BA to do the whole online checkin, asked for crap loads of details that I gave BA already, crap seat selection, ie only middle seats on a 777. Only option is to checkin at airport now. If I want to drink anything other than water they will charge me a small fortune. There was no mention on the BA site that this flight was operated by AA when I booked.
Not happy.
Rant over...
for now.

Only 3.5 hours of stupid work left!

Yip, I'm up for a beer at the Airport before I head to the Best Western. I assume you mean Dave, Arron is already out there on tour 2, but is also on T3. Dave arrives a good few hours before us Ross so I reckon he will be at the hotel or at a rodeo... I could be wrong there. But defo up for a quick drinkie if we are in the airport at the same time. I probably wont bother with a meal.
EDIT: Probably not a bad idea for those us arriving on friday to Exchange mobile numbers via PM so we can text to see what the story is. I'll send mine on there now. On the Sat everyone should have the mobile number in the Info Pack.

Wow. Are these video grabs? Quality is brilliant if they are.

Hehe. Its well possible you will get in before me as I'm likely to get delayed by her Majesty The Queen in Cork.
