    We didn't have a spring either. I do think the UK's climate is utterly pathetic. Crap winters, crap summers and a seemingly never-ending autumn in between.

    Very pink here and raining steadily which feels nice but it’s still so warm it’s weird

    I saw in the thread where Netweather released UKV to subs, they said it's OK to share the occasional frames etc, especially during a potentially significant event like this - just not to go mad sharing every run all the time. https://www.netweather.tv/forum/topic/92068-ukv-charts-now-available/

    Ahh yes, cracker that was. Was perfectly placed to the east to watch the show and you could see the striations on the anvil when it lit up.

    I’m camping tonight so I picked a decent day for it. kind of glad it’s not going to be quite as hot as it was looking earlier in the week but it’s still going to feel warm enough!

    It’s been a very very decent spell where I am, so can’t complain. No storms whatsoever though and none for the foreseeable keeping in-step with the shift that happened around 2007. I didn’t see any rain in the forecast for last night so I put some bed sheets outside to dry but it rained in the night. Classic.

    Still nothing here this year really. I went out to intercept the quite tasty looking cell on radar as it approached but it blew itself out - no thunder and not much rain either really in the end.

    Ahh the wootten bassett cell has andover in its sights and has began rapidly losing intensity.

    Almost a flying eagle shape to the wootten bassett cell. Almost.

    Theres a cell approaching Wootton Bassett which has developed a hail core - i'm hoping it maintains its strength and trajectory.
