    Some storms would be nice here. Our storm season seems to have moved to May and September.

    Another absolutely revolting day here - feels a bit like July 23 out there. The dry/cold period can’t come soon enough.

    Super noisy night here - might have been the noisiest night since I moved here in 2016. Relentless wind and rain slamming against the windows most of the night

    Looks wonderfully mild next week - though that will likely come with an absence of sunshine. More days like yesterday would be great.

    Felt weirdly springlike today. Someone was mowing their grass too so I could smell cut grass in the air.

    December 2012 was pretty snowy here if remember right. Got a feeling it was the last snowy December in this part of the world

    as much as i hate this time of year, I really haven't minded the cold, dry days. Its the return of the wind and rain i'm dreading.

    To do that kind of damage (physically lifting and moving vehicles and removing a roof entirely) it must've been really quite strong by UK standards. Possibly the strongest since Birmingham?

    Not much to report here - had a very heavy shower at some point in the night that hammered the windows and woke me up briefly. That footage of a night time tornado in Jersey complete with power flashes/lightning is wild - thats not something I've seen from the UK before! Hope everyone down there is safe.

    And this is why I HATE autumn/winter in the U.K. if it was cold and sunny/dry with fog and then snow in winter I would do just fine but it’s endless weeks of absolute cat p**s like this.
