  1. You can now clearly see how the instability has shifted to the east. A huge double bust for here today.
  2. some nice lightning on here too I’m off to watch an episode of line of duty - if nothing changes by the time it’s done I’m getting an early night
  3. Caen webcam - not the best quality but constant lightning I hope you’ve enjoyed the Andover storm season as much as I have this year. It’s been a real white knuckle thrill ride
  4. I’m ignoring the Channel Islands stuff now - it’s stationary for some god forsaken reason Just got to see if anything pops up south west of us on the coast really. That’s all I can wish for
  5. The area west of Salisbury and down towards Dorset does seem to want to keep trying bless it
  6. Flying eagle? also how do you guys go about getting live webcams? Every time I search for one the sites are always horrendous, full of pop ups and not live.
  7. The stuff around Guernsey absolutely petrified to move into the channel
  8. Storms apparently aren’t affected by the channel if elevated but I’m not so sure about that honestly
  9. That cell south west of Caen could be the stuff that moves up to affect the south east later. Looks quite pokey on radar
  10. Right well game over for here I would say. Gonna find something else to do with my evening. Good luck those in the east. Peace out guys
  11. The ‘intense’ stuff is barely gaining any forward momentum. Keeps fizzling out on its northern edge Edit - infact the stuff down in the Channel Islands is also now fizzling out lol. very cool!
  12. Hmmm starting to look messy and weak on it’s leading edge, all the good stuff back down towards Jersey etc
  13. Need it to show some strengthening - it’s a weird linear shape at the moment and I can picture it dying out. Grow into a massive MCS please
  14. Those steering winds would bring these right into my front garden - i won’t hold my breath
  15. Yes I think we will be too far west sadly by the time these make landfall
  16. Watching the radar animation is quite fascinating. You can see the squall physically break up as it approaches Andover. Today has been unforgettable. I will always remember where I was when the sky went a slightly darker shade of grey for a few minutes. Can’t wait for tonight and round two!
  17. It’s unbelievable! Currently we have rain alternating between moderate and middling and gusts up to around 3 mph. If it gets any worse I might have to put my hood up
  18. I’m sat in a car park facing south, watching as the reds and whites shrink on radar as the Hampshire Derecho of 2023 makes its final approach.
  19. Some moderate rainfall from the slab of grey approaching from the south. I can barely contain myself
