    hmmm radio is in the garden - dont want to disturb sleeping dogs!!! The wind has dropped again here. Really shoukd go to bed but hoping for light show and all my plants at home and work to get a soaking!!!

    gone very gusty but humid here in sunbury, middx - is it worth sleeping with one eye open.....

    drizzly to moderate here too, but no action on the radars - I saw one flash at about half six this morning when I took the dogs for a walk and spent the day at work skywatching!

    oh well - maybe tomorrow afternoon for surrey??? heres hoping that theres one of those early morning storms tomorrow and i'm off work so can enjoy it! any chance of stuff firing up overnight??

    Your first picture nearly has my garden in it! I did the Dinosaur Den Inspiring Space, was further up from the Owl and the felinecat (near the Ice cream van - excellent spot!!!) Now am waiting for more storms, one flash and bang yesterday about 11.30am and a grumble at 17.30am...... tara ;-)

    is wednesday looking better for storms for surrey - ive been roasting in the sun all week at hampton court and thought we might get a storm tonight... only a few rumbles here and there so far this year, luckily day off weds so looking closely to see how it pans out...

    the thunder isn't boomy - it's more like metal flexing, or rolf harris's wobble board... sounds just like a tropical storm

    almost constant pink lightning here now, storm began about an hour ago, Sky still not back on - flashes and rumbles! Dogs won't settle, looks like a long night!!!?

    im off too... definatelt saw a flash just then, i keep getting the slghtest of breezes - soz 4 typos got the lights off lol

    caught the faintest flash out of the corner of my eye - could just be tired though! very ominous atmosphere - but the IOW radar looks to be tailing off... i cant take another so near yet so far !!!!

    any chance of sunbury getting some storms?? Like a lot of bods been patiently waiting since last sat!! so humid and hot here - am sitting here with my feet in a bowl of ice water!!

    i am having a nosebleed! air pressure must be all over the place a definate rumble about 10 mins ago, and looking out of either side of my house could be two different planets - south/west blue sky one or two clouds, north/eastish is very dark and has the green tinge of storms clouds. can feel a cool breze getting up again.... come on!!! it's sooo on the edge!

    breeze getting up a bit now here in sunbury - very hazy now to the west, with towers going up, my north/north west is a very dark grey
