There is a big assed cell on the radar moving from NI in to scotland and I'm right in the fireing line for it. Tell me thers sferic acitvity in it?! There has to be!

I've seen them here but never with a thunderstorm (we hardly get them here so I supose thats why haha) more frontal activity. I just assumed it was tubulence in the air from being forced up the hills around where I lived since the cloud base is relativly low.

Three years of being storm starved over! Still hoping I'ma gonna get some lightning later on this year not seen any of that in a long time. some brilliant convective clouds have come though today. A large hail shower passed though about half an hour ago, skud going everywhere, clouds in the base going every which way possible I thought it was going to drop a funnel at one point as it moved across the vally. We get a lot of topographically induced funnels and 'nadoes here because of all the sea inlet lochs and hills. Was hoping for osme more thunder but it didn't produce, visually amazing though got some photos on my phone of a rainbow just as the sun was setting. Been a good day.

Moving off now, counted about 10 loud rumbles of thunder but no lighting that I could see. I think somewhere behind the house might have been hit theres an alarm going off like crazy and and fire trucks flying along the road I hope they haven't been hit. I got my storm! It was good enough for me! I'm content for the rest of the year now.

WOW! That is insane in the membrane! I turned the volume up as loud as I could and nearly jumped out my seat haha!

Cloudy, lukewarm, couple of spots of drizzle though the day with a cold breeze. Wish I was back in Edinburgh where I had a weather station just meters away, I feel lost without data to post.

Haha don't worry I can't spell either, you would have been fooled in to thinking it was October outside! I went to the student union for lunch with my room mate whoes from America because we needed to get out. We decided to walk the 4km back to our hall from the otherside of the city, then it started raining. It was freezing outside I got back and you know that way your walking in to the wind and rain and you lose the feeling in your skin, then go inside and it feels like its on fire. I have that. I think I have wind burn on my cheeks. Windburn. In May?! What the smeg? You know I was thinking about the ethics behind it, and at least to me its appalling. They should have retired the name out of respect for the people who died, though of course it’s a poor country that people don’t really care about, hence its been left in service. If 550 had died in the USA we would never have heard the end of it, huge press coverage all over the world for the next 50 years on the anniversary. It’s just depressing to think that there is such bias. Never the less I’m shutting up now or I’m going to go on a rant and explode everywhere and irritate people.
