The ABC3340 are showing live pictures of Tuscaloosa and just...holy crap. Poss tornado in downtorn Greensboro and a tornado about to go through Brent.
If I lived there I'd be in my basement and never ever ever coming out.

Sad thing is due to the windfield blowing the precip ahead of the Tornado there not even going to see it in the way we did it in its infancy stage. 1,212,848 people now looking down the barrel of a F4/F5 tornado and their only indication of it will be the roar & debris falling from the sky minutes before it hits.
I just pray to god people are taking cover for this. Been on the ground for two hours now. You just can't even think of what to say about this, there is just now ay to describe how insanly scary this thing is.

The saving grace is that with the larger Tornadoes they take on a more Easterly component. However downtown Birmingham is still in the warning-track for now. The last thing the Southern States need's after the floods & Katrina though is something like this though.

Downtown Birmingham, Al isn't small. Looking at google images it's quite a metropolis with some sizeable buildings. If this Tornado maintains it's mile-size status there's going to be some major destruction soon.
I'm praying this thing doesn't go into Birmingham. Its going to be an utter catastrophy if it does.

Funnel cloud in Northport, Tuscaloosa. Major damage at the hospital. No injuries at the hospital thank god. They're running on generators now.

Ditto. I feel sick to my stomach I mean normally I can isolate myself and go "sure its a same they have hit people" but they keep calling out warnings for a town called Samantha and it keeps getting me. I seriously freaking hope they get everyone in Cordova gets to safty it looks like they are going to get hit AGAIN.

Holy Crap. How many large tornados can be on the ground at one time? Anyone got a tally of how many tornado warned storms there are at the moment? I've lost count.

The cell to the south west of Tuscaloosa is ramping up now, could be one to watch soon.

The storm on the Tuscaloosa county line looks insane the gate to gate shear on it is just phenominal. Its far too close to Berry for comfort.

CNN reporting the hospital in Cullman has been hit. Very worrying.
ABC 33/40 reporting the same. Hospital, school, court house and centeral commerce center all taken direct hits.

They've also just told everyone in Hamilton to get back in to their tornado safe place and prepair for round two. Seeeesh.
