    Yes under a UK high with temperatures around 3c by day and just below freezing at night.

    GFS0z from day 10 is an absolute belter very cold across the country with -10 uppers and plenty of snow opportunities in a bitter N-NE flow.

    With no prospects of any cold or snow over the Christmas to New year period I am now signing of for Christmas,going to stick to my prediction of a wintry outbreak by the end of the first week of January.and I expect this to start appearing on the models over the Christmas holidays. hope you all have a fantastic Christmas.

    As discussed on Breakfast this morning the METO seem quit confident of some kind of Battle ground over Christmas,showed a graphic for Christmas Day with a boundary between the cold air and milder air,but obviously stated the uncertainty at the moment and the boundary could move further North or Further south.
