    Total lack of decent uppers once again, is it so much to ask?! Annoyingly marginal once again pffft, Once again high pressure over Scandi blocks off the colder uppers, it really annoys me when people get excited over a Scandi high they've brought us nothing but trouble. Stick a trough over scandi any day instead. That's my pessimism over... In any case by the time it gets to this point of the Winter i'm dreaming of hot days and sunshine so... It can do what it wants

    My Dad's travelling to New York tomorrow due to arrive at 2pm New York time, hopefully gets there before the worst of the snow comes! Apparently going to be a rain to snow event for NYC turning to snow as the day goes on. I'd love to be in Boston though 24 inches sounds incomprehensible in one event!

    Ah the familiar sound of a southerly gale Had a lovely sunny day here, not a bad way to start the milder period of weather upcoming. Snow is melting rather slowly but noticeably, looking forward to not being cold all the time -at least for a little while-, as we get closer to February, I can say i've enjoyed this January, not been the best cold spell ever, but still enjoyable And now we all wonder what February could bring

    Same here 1-2cm at least makes the covering look a bit fresher, I'll be sad to see it to completely but am looking forward too to a bit milder weather for now at least

    Been snowing here for ages! We have achieved an excellently deep covering in this cold spell, and today is just topping it up nicely

    Eeeey it's alright here, snow coming down again. The traffic lights in particular look mint where the snow has been blown when falling into them and sticking on them and signs etc
