  1. I was just gonna say it was like a fog before the heaviest precipitation hit us. You can see on the radar that the showers are now far more intense than the front, with these showers continuing and moving inland we are really going to see the depths increase!
  2. Probably a couple centimetres, i'm terrible at judging depths haha its easier to look at a surface which wasn't covered before such as my car, than looking at the original snow cover although probably more has laid on the original snow cover.
  3. Those who haven't got any showers yet, you weren't supposed to so don't fret by tonight you'll be getting plenty, Forecast for Darlington, 18:00 heavy snow.. can't complain? http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/darlington#?tab=fiveDay
  4. Its actually below freezing in South Shields now! 0.4C in Hebburn, light snow falling after a moderate-heavy shower just gone Aaaaand getting heavier again haha Ooo 0C now in Hebburn!
  5. That last shower was awesome just finishing off now, made my covering look brand new again added a cm perhaps, was very brief but intense
  6. Its weird watching the news seeing it snowing in 'South West London', and also snowing here lmao
  7. I would never use any graphics for forecasting snow showers off the North Sea, unless its a recognised trough. They're always useless, its all about doing their job for them and watching the radar!
  8. Very lightly snowing Wheyyy here we go first shower of the day, getting heavier, wind is blowing it about like mad!
  9. Up to 1.1C here dewpoint still -2C though, I wonder if we'll get any of this shower heading for S'land
  10. Yer the met office is still on for light snow from 15:00, heavy snow from 18:00... I still think earlier though haha
  11. What a difference a few miles makes, sun still shining here amongst the clouds
  12. Ooooh the waiting game haha, look at all them beautiful showers it's not going to take much to push them inland, they've already been affecting coastal areas. Still early doors
  13. It's nice to have a space between us and Europe full stop I'm so excited for these showers tomorrow, Bring on the North Sea and all of its snowy fury!
  14. Still lightly snowing here, the cold equivalent of drizzle I guess
  15. Forgive me for being lazy and not using the 500-850 workyout table, but what 850s would we get for that chart?
  16. Temperature has just nudged above freezing grr! No ice day today lmao 0.2C
  17. Reckon we could get any thundersnow? I'm craving a good thunder storm haha, watching videos on youtube, bit sad I know hahah
  18. I'm not that worried about Saturday/ Sunday, will still get some snow if not a bit wet, which does worry me about ruining the covering we have. Monday very worries me though LOL
  19. Agh them showers out in the north sea are such a tease! Me too met office is forecasting rain for us Monday night!
