I was just gonna say it was like a fog before the heaviest precipitation hit us. You can see on the radar that the showers are now far more intense than the front, with these showers continuing and moving inland we are really going to see the depths increase!
Probably a couple centimetres, i'm terrible at judging depths haha its easier to look at a surface which wasn't covered before such as my car, than looking at the original snow cover although probably more has laid on the original snow cover.
Those who haven't got any showers yet, you weren't supposed to so don't fret by tonight you'll be getting plenty,
Forecast for Darlington, 18:00 heavy snow.. can't complain?

Its actually below freezing in South Shields now! 0.4C in Hebburn, light snow falling after a moderate-heavy shower just gone
Aaaaand getting heavier again haha
Ooo 0C now in Hebburn!
I would never use any graphics for forecasting snow showers off the North Sea, unless its a recognised trough. They're always useless, its all about doing their job for them and watching the radar!
Ooooh the waiting game haha, look at all them beautiful showers it's not going to take much to push them inland, they've already been affecting coastal areas. Still early doors
I'm not that worried about Saturday/ Sunday, will still get some snow if not a bit wet, which does worry me about ruining the covering we have. Monday very worries me though LOL
