Does this mean you won't be producing another of the highlights of this stealth winter: the @Hawesybespoke Kilted snawdepth predictor table?

And if not, does this mean we have to invoke the Kilted Snawdepth Pools Panel* to decide the results?

    :blink2:

*For younger viewers, back in the day, this was an invention (a bunch of blokes of the great and the good) to decide the Saturday fitba scores (when matches were postponed due to 'proper weather') in order to figure out whether anyone had won the pools jackpot. The pools were like Lotto, but involved much more complicated mental arithmetic, lesser prize money and the 1970s and were also reliant on nearly all the fitba matches being scheduled to kick off at 3pm on Saturday.

I know, who'd ever indulge such madness now, eh?!

Noo ahm guessing PG, that the official Kilted Snaw Depth Gauge, requires said Scotsman wi a Calibrated Langchanter  :D

  2. Another great winters day even though we only got about 1cm from the front which came over. Cannae complain as there is the best part of a foot O' snaw lying here.

It has however been steady drizzle now for aboot 3hrs, but strangely not having any impact at the moment oan the lying snaw, even on the trees?

Maybe something that our more techy guys can comment on?

A couple o' pics to show the snaw still well intact!

Fkn camera oan the tablet taking pics side oan. grr.

It's been a while coming but we've had our first subzero temperature reading of the season this morning. A low of -1.3C :)

Was a chilly -3 Deg C here this morning Benv and now some o' the white stuff as per the pic.

We have had a few sub zeros already this Autumn!

Certainly looks like decent potential in the coming week, especially inland with a bit of height. Mountains should do well.

Chilly, snawy weather potentially sustained too; similar outlook on both the ECM and GFS a per ensembles. Hopefully a nice aperitif for winter.
