  1. Anyone using phone weather apps - they will be hours behind with forecasts. We are in RealTime now
  2. Nope. Just shown on This Morning (ITV). A 'forecast' radar graphic from Meto i guess. They ran the loop. SW Yes, Bristol and to East looks like more marginal going by that radar prediction. Your area looks right in firing line.
  3. Latest radar predict seems to show it just veering NW towards Ireland past midnight. I think Bristol area could be the very NE extent going by that radar pic i saw just now. Rest of SW into Somerset, Devon, parts of Cornwall will get 'smashed'!
  4. Are we defo on for a good fall? Has the main area to be affected later shifted at all re model predictions?
  5. Just got out of bed and it's already snowing Is this a surprise event OR start of main event?
  6. I thought models showed our area (Bristol) to only get patchy snow later tom, before main stuff Friday.
  7. I watch Only Fools on Gold all the time. Some episodes i reck i've watched 50 times! Chain Gang is an all-round classic- saved on my Virgin v6 box. Anyway, light flurry here now. Was hoping for main event tomorrow but looks like Friday is main action
  8. Took a couple of hours off from the thread but wifey's just popped off to slumberland so i've just poured another guinness and am watching Only Fools Chain Gang episode - a classic! Plus a little bit of lampost watching!
  9. Chinio's post had a Hirlam precip chart for 14.00 tomorrow so an Apples&Pears job. Yes you're right. Model output is secondary now to actual.
  10. Agreed but I CANT HELP IT!! I NEED A BEER! And it is now Beer O'clock especially as Spurs are playing so badly
  11. Chinio (a poster i genuinely respect for his knowledge) has posted in mad thread a few mins ago that the Hirlam 'take' on tomorrow should not be discounted. That forecasts main snow to our East (away from Bristol) and would favour more Dorset, Wilts, Hants and then into London area. Imby comment.
  12. Nope. Watching on BT sport. 1-1 The ref is the 'star' of the show abely supported by the VAR which is a joke by the way! Models - popped into mad thread. Latest faxes dont look great for North of our SW region. I've a horrible feeling Bristol area may only see scraps. Seems a consensus that it may stay more south - openly imby comment i know
  13. Great post by Bring Back. Now please everyone dont requote it....just open yr post with "Fab post Bring back..." or something similar I'm officially declaring at 19.50 on Wed 28 Feb 2018 we are now in NOWCAST time, in respect of tomorrow's/Friday's 'event'. Exact track, intensity, etc will be known 'at the time' it happens
  14. That is a "we're not really sure how much" range, for sure Snow flurries here at mo.
  15. I became pretty bullish during today that we were in for a good 24-hiur job. Tom nite was down for a major all-nighter. Not so sure now.
  16. You're in a sweetspot. Just watched BBC1 weather (national) and for Bristol looks patchy tom eve and Fri morn. Doesnt really get going til Fri lunchtime up here according to that forecast. N Devon, Mendips looks like a 24 hour plus job.
  17. Guess a long time holiday haunt of mine, Stoke Fleming, just outside Dartmouth would've been hit today? My bro has a house in SF, where he stays every w/e.
