    Ice on the inside of our old metal framed single glazed windows now there's a memory I'll never forget. Watching patterns and shapes in the ice whilst slowly peeling the net curtains off the frozen glass.

    Was thinking this too, if we had got the colder uppers in from the East first, just imagine the totals for this weekend. Some of us would have been buried!

    Before I discovered this site I genuinely thought I was a bit nutty for being so obsessed with the weather. But it's reassuring when I see how many people are on here are just as crazy about snow and storm's. I think maybe the weather ignites some fond memories and just brings them back. As a child who would have thought that when older, we would be talking to fellow weather fanatics through a computer or phone screen!

    Hey Jenny back in '92 I worked at Sizewell and we had a 1cm of snow one morning. Went to shop later that day and they had sold out of everything! Lovely area though I really enjoyed living there.

    Was gutted on this day , it was a Saturday and was doing overtime at work. The snow got here at 17:00 and to my horror it just fizzled out.

    Remember doing this as a kid living in Essex, when storm's came up from France overnight.

    Same here yesterday, those elevated storm's skimmed past to the west. Had some amazing clouds and the storm's were frustratingly close too.

    Anybody notice the sky is a beige colour and it's making everything here look orange. I feel like I'm in an old photo lol!
