  1. JMA Monthly looks superb and is very consistent to what it’s been offering for a few weeks now. Maybe not Cat litter after all Tip; turn your screen upside down
  2. Agreed not a very strong anomaly but strong enough for so far out t-360 but certainly no black holes.
  3. Strong Greenland anomaly at the end of the run. Gets stronger as we get closer to t-360 , trough over Central Europe. Probably more Griceland on second viewing although 2 meter temp anomaly slightly underwhelming.
  4. Ah that makes sense, the last monthly I saw was initiated on 3rd Jan.
  5. I see the “Big Hitters” are back in the Mad thread, must be something afoot
  6. I’ve checked with the site I subscribe to and they say I can.
  7. As far as I know I can put these anomaly charts on here. No beast from the East but a northerly blast looks on the cards possibly.
  8. Extended EPS still looks good for around 19th - 20th. Keep the faith.
  9. 6th of January and one post in 12 hours let’s see what the ECM can do about that.
  10. The trend is definitely there for around 19th Jan and onwards. And possibly add in the affects of of any trop responses to that.
  11. That’s been the case for a few days now and the anomaly charts would seem to back it up. Turning point looks to be last third of Jan and has been for a while now.
  12. Hi Tom i was 11 at the time and can remember being sent home from school I don’t think we got it as bad as Kent and the north east.
  13. We always seem to get cold Turkey this time of year, seems to be a pattern
  14. Anomaly charts are looking tasty at the moment, I wish people would pay more attention to them than the ops.
  15. Week 1; high pressure, coldish, frost, yawn. Week 2; cold north westerly coming northerly, snow up tut north. Week 3-4 ; high pressure Greenland= f@@cking freezing. As Benitez would say “fact”
  16. Think I’ll be sticking with the JMA long range model over Icon for the moment. Discribed as cat litter last night but looks in line with met office & EC monthly forecasts.
