    I Think we can do better than that come the 17th of jan, I think this weekend is going to throw up some very decent eye candy on the models. I dont think the chart you show would bring anything but cold rain to my regian.

    What did that archive chart from 1947 deliver snowlover ? to me it dosen't look to cold but 1947 was a memorable winter. Infact it looks very similar to todays outputs "confused.com"

    Had a quick flick through all the major cities in the northern hem including North America and Russia and the lack of any real cold weather anywhere is shocking, What the **** is going on ?

    Evening all, the models continue to show a slow evolution to cooler/colder weather towards the middle of jan !!! have to say this winter seems to be back to norm for the UK, lets hope for a decent cold shot in the new year North Korea looked cold on the tv did it not ?

    Cheers polar, would it not also be possible for the euro high to migrate north over greenland or norway giving a similar outcome ? Edit: wouldn't the trough over scandi produce a N'wstly ?
