It's sill due to settle down again later this week? Subtle differences in the positioning of the high which needs resolving, but the trend is the same across the models this morning. ECM: GFS: The GFS then looks dire into the last week of April, but that's a way off. UKMO:

Looks like the top temperature over the weekend was 21.8c in Essex: Essex records the hottest temperature so far this year - BBC News WWW.BBC.CO.UK Saturday was warmer than average, but the weather is expected to get colder during the next week.

Back down with a bang this morning. Wet, windy, cool. Spring can be the most frustrating season - wild swings from warm to cold.

stainesbloke I’m in Zurich on Tuesday and Wednesday for a work trip. It looks very chilly there after a warm weekend. Just 9c-11c and showery.

Alderc 2.0 you do seem to be under a patch of cloud down near Bournemouth. Hopefully it’ll clear. Looking good for much of the south and south east plus East Anglia currently.

CryoraptorA303 we have London City Airport, but being on right on the river it may be slightly cooler than places further into the city within east London.
