I have got to say I would be pleasantly be surprised if I saw snowfall tonight. Looks better for south of the region. But I do have to say I have got an orange looking sky overhead. Been a fantastic day for me. Snowed constantly from 6am till 2pm this afternoon fantastic stuff.

Well with North easterly's tonight its going to be pretty cold out there!

The talk of the system moving back north even with northerly winds? If in the unlikely event it does its not going to reach this north is it?

According to the Raintoday radar I am now approaching the back of the band of showers. But if I look out of my window its grey cloud for as far as I can see! Still snowing now and has been since 6am.

Anyone's thoughts on the chances of the showers coming from the North East and Scotland coming down to the NW?

According to Sky News Manchester Airport has suspended all flights again.

How long is everyone in North/Central Lancs expecting this band to be stalling or moving extremely slowly south for? Been snowing here since 6am for the best part.

The pitch is playable cause of the undersoil heating. It is the surrounding areas that have give the police concerns for fans safety.

Been snowing here non-stop from 6am when I got a text off college saying it was closed. Really heavy and moderate. This is awesome and more coming on its way? Hope more streamers develop in the Irish sea. This is an event to remember for the NW.

On the raintoday radar is it me or are them showers/clouds at Northern Ireland making there way over here? Hopefully the Irish sea could pep them up a bit? Still hoping we might catch something off the one working down from Scotland.

Had another heavy snow shower here about 15mins ago. Light steady snow now. I think some of us have done fantastic of these streamers from the Irish sea tonight considering. Shame to those who haven't. Lets hope this main band delivers even for those who have not seen much so far. Location - Blackburn.
