Breezy day and turned wet this afternoon, currently 8.7c.

Windy in the south tomorrow especially the SW with gusts around 50-60mph & maybe higher with exposure. More widespread windy weather possible Sunday and on into Monday. Quite a complex set up with a few low centres nearby and wave features swinging over the country which would increase the winds as we've seen on the 12z, expect further changes even at this close range as models get a handle on how the various surface features will develop and affect the UK.

Great, So there is some nasty weather still lurking in the woodshed! Story of the winter.

An end in sight to the current nasty weather pattern would be nice! Storms, wind, rain & ongoing risk of flooding... So any good news on that front?

Nice late winters day with long sunny periods, got up to 6.2c.

Were you expecting something else? LOL.
-
Wind easing off this aft still raw though, currently 4.5c after a high of 6.3c.
-
Potentially some more very windy weather next weekend, storm Imogen perhaps. Many changes likely before then though and may come to nothing. ECM chart would bring very strong winds in over Ireland and across central UK.
