i cant understand why it is not moving, it should have a pull off this low exiting the uk? looking at sat images everything around it is moving in a se direction

slight shift to the south with the polar low slight expansion also, but it will die its death over the sea

sunny here in west cumbria, high cloud to the south temp dropping like a stone under clear skies and as the sun is decending, reached 4.2c at 13.00 its now 2.6c dewpoint around 0c how dare they pinch our cold air to fuel there snow LOL this will miss us completely i think...

bbc radio cumbria said sleet and snow tonight? i doubt it as its barely going to move north of wales/north midlands

the lp at the moment has not deepened to the forecasted intensity, the 18z run should give a good idea on the northern extent of any ppn and the 06z monday will be even better still, we had a few hours on snow here in west cumbria today started heavy maybe 1cm on grass but it soon turned light temp currently 1.2c very fine snow every now and again
