9 degrees now and still sunny but I can see some low cloud lurking over the Irish Sea, hope it stays there!

Right on 0.0c atm, chilly dog walk! Enjoying this period of settled weather it can stay as long as it likes, ground drying out nicely.

Unbroken sunshine this morning, wasn't expecting that after seeing the TV forecasts last night but not complaining! 2.9c at dawn, up to 9c now.

The morning cloud cleared quickly to leave another beautiful early spring day with plenty of sunshine and a top temp of 12.6c. Getting used to this now, settled sunny and quite mild, feeling very nice in the sun.

Perfect spring day with wall to wall sun from the word go, not long to sunset now. Got up to 12.3c and felt nice in the sun with little wind, more of the same please!

Slight ground frost first thing with a temp of 1.3c, climbed up to 4.7c now. Blue skies and sunshine so a decent day coming up if the cloud stays away.

Double figures! (just)... 10.4c atm with some late afternoon sunshine and feeling very nice with little wind in the sun.

Pleasant start to the day but still quite cloudy, min overnight was 7.6c, currently 9.4c. Looking dry for the next week at least so great for getting out and about. Really need to give the grass it's first cut of the spring!

Cold and frosty morning with a temp of 0c at dawn then it climbed up to 10c by early afternoon before skies clouded over, currently 8.2c and overcast with some drizzle.

After the very disturbed winter March has been quite a settled month so far with more in way of dry weather with some sunshine bar the odd day here and there, and I'm glad to see it's looking settled for the foreseeable with high pressure in close proximity, although depending on cloud amounts maybe not wall to wall sunshine for days on end. If some model output is to be believed then it could potentially remain settled for what's left of March, we can hope anyway!

Pleasant day after the rain cleared this morning, quite a bit of cloud but stayed dry with some sunny breaks. Chilly with a cool northerly wind and a current temp of 6.8c.

Yeah was much clearer yesterday with sparkling wall to wall sunshine Shame we missed out on the snow last week.

Total change today from the weather over the last few days! No frost or sunshine this morning as it's been replaced with grey skies and drizzle, 6.3c atm.

Can stay as long as it likes, frost this morning, chilly afternoon with wall to wall sunshine from dawn till dusk & feeling pleasant in the March sunshine. Stunning day for getting out and about. Some people still look for warmth after summers over into autumn and some are still looking for colder weather in March just a week after winter finished. Folk like different things for many reasons.

Poor winter for snow! The hills aren't that high around Loweswater in the photos and not really that far away from the coast. A bit more snow further inland, would have been more if that ppn was sat over Cumbria last week but we missed out as usual!

Frosty morning with a min of -1.3c, currently 3.1c with the strong sun making short work of the frost. Should be another decent day with some early spring sunshine.

May get a frost but temp keeps fluctuating around 1/2c, mainly clear but some cloud knocking about and still a cold breeze. Chilly for the next few days with some frosts before warming up into next week, may even get into the teens by the end of the week!

Not a bad day so far with some sunshine but a cold wind especially out of the sun, got up to 6.3c but feeling lower with the wind chill. Meanwhile up in the Yorkshire Dales some impressive snow totals from yesterday, looks deeper with the drifting.

Sun coming out and it's quite pleasant in light winds, was 2c at dawn, up to 7.1c now. Warning saying 200-300m for accumulating snow later so probably rain to lower levels, no surprise there! Getting used to cold rain...

Clear skies here this evening, 6.0c and quite gusty. Cold rain on the cards here tomorrow night.
