    We had a snow shower! Ok it turned to sizzle then ice rain, but it did snow for about 10 mins. Current temp 0.4 after an overnight low of -3c

    Despite the milder temps, the canal is still frozen over (thin ice at the edges but still quite thick towards the centre). Where we broke the ice, around the boat, it has started to refreeze as of last night. Current temp here is 1c, partial cloud. I need to travel on Wednesday, but after that if the cold and snow fancy coming back, then I'm all for it

    We had a frost last night and expect one again tonight, the temp is already down to 1.1c

    A really sharp frost last night. The canal has once again frozen over. It was lovely walking the dog about 7am, everywhere White with frost and a hazy blue sky. The over night low was-4.4c, current temp 2.1c with cloud. I was just getting used to the idea of spring breaking through, but it looks like we are in for a cold dry spell for a few days.

    Its 3c and tipping it down with rain, some gust wind. Got soaked walking the dog this morning and the mud was horrid. I keep hearing rumors of more snow on the way, is the cold on its way back? I thought that large low was going to bring just the wet and windy weather that has already started, I was surprised to see the temp so low this morning.

    Its cold and grey here today, no snow or rain. Yesterdays snow is still clinging on where the sun did not reach otherwise its all gone. From what I can gather from the post I have read, I don't think we will get anymore from this until maybe tomorrow later on in the day and only then if we are lucky. Not complaining as we have had lots of snow over this winter so far, I'm just being greedy wanting more.

    Heavy snow and its sticking even on the wet surfaces The temp has dropped to 0.4c Big flakes and so many coming down so fast

    You should be ok, whilst the temp has now dropped to 2.2c from 4c the snow is not settling even on the grass. I know that it could well change in the space of 2 hrs and if it does you won't be able to miss the post with lots of smileys. Hope your meeting goes well

    Just had a txt to say they have heavy snow in Mkt Harborough, txt back to see if its settling but no reply yet.

    The temp here is certainly on the wrong side of marginal even though the dew point is -1c (according to the weather channel). Still I'm always wrong in my predictions for weather so...I'm saying it will be wet snow that won't settle....lets hope that true to form I'm very very wrong.

    I'm trying to be patient.....I'm resisting the urge to get up every 2 mins to look out of the window.....honest. Its grey cloud but my sensors reading 4c I'm willing it to drop.

    Your right about it not settling but at least the temps have started to drop, I'm getting 1.2c from the sensor as apposed to 2.1c about 1/2hr ago. If only the snow and the temps can keep falling........fingers crossed here.
