where do I look up the accurate dew point for Hinckley and what does it need to read for snow?

Temp here now falling steadily. We're down to 1.3c. I had given up on the idea of snow this side of christmas and here we are again willing that band to bring us snow snow.

Txt from Mother in Market Harborough, saying fog has decended. Here in Hinckley temp has dropped from 2.7c down to 1.7c with cloud thickening.

What's the chances of finally seeing some snow on the leicestershire/warwickshire border?

We have got a lot of cloud building up but the temp is hovering about 2.7c not looking very good I'm afraid. The ground is still frozen so if it rains its going to turn to solid ice when the temps fall again. Spoke to Mum this morning in Market Harborough they still have lots of snow on the ground. My Sister in Salisbury says they have rain at the moment which is turning the snow to icey slush.

Just had a text from my sister in Salisbury, she says its falling as rain there now and they have not had any snow at all.

I hope Andy in Leicester get snow this time, he sounded really fed up in his last few post. Good luck everyone

Well here we go again, fingers crossed again. Though to be honest I've been really enjoying the sunny and frost. Took the dog out this morning and it was perfect. The low sun making the frosty surface sparkle, the trees with frost on them against a perfect blue sky. As we have had only a sprinkle that looks like icing sugar, it would be nice to have enough for a snowball fight. Just praying that if we do get some, the roads are clear Christmas morning or my poor mum will be spending christmas day alone and I'll be eating toast for christmas dinner lol.

We missed out yet again, but I have to say its been a gloriously cold and sunny winters day. Maybe we will be lucky next time the snows about. I guess its game over for the time being.

Don't give up hope just yet, think you might be pleasantly suprised.

Just been out for a smoke, there is a light breeze starting up & temp starting to drop back. temp rose to 1c but falling back fluctuating 0.5c to 0.7c

fluctuation might be due to heat leaking out of boat window, sensor is on the edge of the roof near the window. I have fire blazing away, might be clutching at straws but the temp in here is a sweltering 26.7c (forgot to throttle stove back after putting more coal on)

Think that snow shields extending to here temp going up 0.6 grrrrr

The temp here has started to rise gone from -1.3 up to -0.3 whats happening??????
