  1. Well we most certainly thank you! Yep, easterly looking good - at this stage.......more later!
  2. That's delicious - may all models follow suit please....
  3. Wowsers! You guys certainly cop it when it comes to a more traditional winter - hoping things aren't too disruptive...here, we are in a lull of a more mild scenario but me thinks winter will come back again, even in these milder realms, certainly been a winter to remember.
  4. That same storm might clip us here in the SE! that's how intense it is! who knows?!
  5. Hello mate! Yep, some very interesting radar colours coming our way! Think the sunday storm will be worth watching and I do think things will turn interesting the first week in March with a potential easterly which might deliver for us in the SE (ooh no, what 'ave I said) wait 'n' see......
  6. Hi TEITS Looks as though a transition to milder weather by say the 10th March is now being suggested by the models....Will winter have its final say though? You sum it up nicely... high pressure either over uk but with the POSSIBILITY that it might shift westwards with each run or indeed may even retrogress again (??) and we all know what that would mean! Based on latest runs though, looking at the 28th of Feb what wind direction would that draw in to the SE ? I am watching with interest - Could be quite a storm depending on its trajectory - it's where I live lol!
  7. True. But is the accumulation of wet leading to soggy - Won't help the ground that we walk on! lol! Respite for tuesday then but nothing 'dry'...oh well.!
  8. All warnings from the Met O for SE region now saying heavy rain for the next THREE DAYS....Flooding will be an issue and I have a dog as well so NASTY walking conditions - Damn.
  9. YAWN (from Medway/Mudway perspective).....Rain here and likely to stay rain - the worst type of weather for me, cold rain and breezy YUCK and trying to get rid of a cold virus which has lastest for weeks....Ggrrr
  10. Yes...Exactly what's happened....Annoyingly, the 528 dam line skirts with our part of the world compared to that of more northern parts. Shame...This has been shown on the models. the 528 rises and leaves us under the 546 which brings boring cold rain all next week and briefly returns during NEXT weekend...It looks a similar set-up for us though even and IF it does return - RAIN, YET AGAIN...
  11. MAF Feel just like a dog awaiting scraps from a rich roast dinner with this 'wet rain' offering....time for a treat for the SE!
  12. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!! Unfortunately so.....we will have to wait to the back end of the week for anything colder again (in terms of temps and ppn) of course! who knows though, charts are once again, up in the air although the GFS is leaning towards a colder scenario for the last part of feb into the first week of march as shown by the charts on this thread for the 3rd also March was shown as being possible colder than average too!
  13. An interesting week coming up on the charts. All models show cold - for those like myself, in the southern quarter expect cold rain and breezy at least until thursday night?! Thereafter, I think into next weekend things could become more wintry in flavour.....
  14. FROSTY039 A superb summary and my thoughts precisely! I think the colder air will dig into the south towards the middle part of next week and eventually become part of the wintry part of britain as the 528 dam line suggests this...A wintry outlook for all with nothing mild until the 23rd February is my take on the charts....
  15. WOW! Exceptional! But is there any real necessity for a met office warning for all of Kent then?!!!!
  16. Oh how wise - look at how things have turned out in the last few hours after DAYS of runs with agreement between ALL models of an easterly with a prolonged cold snap - well maybe the colder air temps have been there...lol! People, let's wait and see - nothing is that predictable - even for more 'seasoned' forecasters of NW! That is the beauty of weather - it changes within a very short time - this is something (as a novice) I am beginning to learn and accept - sometimes it can be a disappointing outcome, despite having 'read' the models correctly over some time....
  17. To be true - It's been a bit of a joke and marginal to say the least - Here, I have been waiting all day, must be on the edge of anything significant yet again....Boring. Sorry folks, but this seems like an extreme east Kent only exclusive club, 'because in North Kent, nothing is a happnin'....
  18. Thank you for that......Looks good doesn't it prob arrive around 11.15 ? lol! Hope it holds together and delivers a lot!
  19. hi neil - that doesn't surprise me at all looking at the charts - this time they are looking SUPERB for us in kent lol!!
  20. All models are in full agreement which is truly magical...I am really happy about that! I think looking at the position of the low it may bring snow showers to the southeast as early as tuesday! ECM as somebody previously described definitely an improvement on its previous run and I am liking the retrogression into greenland by the high towards next weekend! A prolonged cold spell up until the 20th feb with the southern half of England in the firing line for snow! LOVIN' IT!!!
  21. Evening Nick Yes, I know what you mean! What surprised me was how the BBC on tonight's regional bulletin were insisting on a mild few days but at the weekend turning and I quote: "Much, much colder" (!) OK......?
  22. lol TEITS - Thanks for the smile that post created....poorish kind of day.... lol!
  23. Hiya Neil Not expecting much here though - unless you know different? Hoping for the easterly which keeps being modelled lol!!!!!
